Good evening this is Bre Brown, associate principal of Warren Central High School. As we near the end of the summer, I would like to share important back to school reminders with all families. In the coming weeks, Warren Central will host registration and onboarding events for students in all grade levels. We are asking students that attended a Warren Township school last year and new families that have completed the enrollment process with an administrator to attend our scheduled events.
During these events, students will receive a school-issued student ID, along with but not limited to, the opportunity to apply for textbook rental assistance, transportation requests for seniors, scheduling issues, and Chromebook assistance. Athletics and several of our community partners will be available as well. We would ask that all families bring updated immunization documentation as well as any updates to residency or contact information. Please park in lots 6 and 7 and enter through Door 1. Our building is still under construction and all families will need to enter campus from either 21st street or Mitthoeffer road.
The Freshman Onboarding experience will be Tuesday, July 20, 2021, for students with the last name A-K, and Thursday, July 22, 2021, for students with the last name L-Z. We will be offering two sessions on both dates. Families may attend from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm or 5:30 pm -7:30 pm on each day. All incoming freshmen will be issued a new Chromebook at onboarding and will be asked to turn in their current Chromebook, charger, and case. Senior registration will be Monday, July 19, 2021, from noon to 3:00 pm. All seniors are required to have an updated immunization record on file, including a complete meningitis vaccination and Hepatitis A. Nurses will be available to assist students at check-in. Additionally, any senior planning to ride the bus will need to sign up for transportation.
Junior registration will be Monday, July 19, 2021, from noon to 3:00 pm.
Sophomore registration will be Monday, July 19, 2021, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Sophomore students should bring their Chromebook, charger, and case, in exchange for a new device.
