Good evening, this is Rich Shepler, principal of Warren Central High School.   We are still planning on our 9th - 12th-grade students returning to the HYBRID IN-PERSON and VIRTUAL model on Wednesday, February 17th. A reminder that Monday, February 15th is Presidents' Day, and Tuesday, February 16th is a district wide eLearning day for staff professional development. Upon return, our 9th -12th-grade students will follow the Black and Gold Schedule. The schedule can be found on page 19 of our S.A.F.E Reopening Plan which is linked here and our website.

All juniors will take the ISTEP test beginning Tuesday, February 2nd.  Students with last names A-K will test each day from Tuesday, February 2nd through Friday, February 5th.   Students with last names L-Z will test each day from Tuesday, February 9th through Friday, February 12th.   Juniors should report to their testing locations by 7:15 each day.  Senior ISTEP retesters will test from February 9th-12th, with testing beginning at 7:15 am each day.  Passing these tests fulfills a graduation requirement and attendance is mandatory. Testing locations have been sent to students via email.   Please direct any questions you may have to your student’s cohort team.

Due to ISTEP+ testing, there will not be Senior Learning HUB’s this week.

Students in the class of 2024 that are transitioning to hybrid instruction after being fully virtual all of the first semester, will have the opportunity to attend a short orientation session prior to returning on February 17th.   Please watch for information in the 2024 newsletter for details about times and locations.

We are asking our K-12 families and staff as well as our high school students to participate in an Equity and Inclusion Survey. The purpose of this survey is to hear from our community on how we can continue to build an equitable system for our students and outcomes. The survey link is bit.ly/WarrenEquitySurvey. It is also in the newsletter and on our websites.

We ask that you continue to check your email, the Warren Township app, and social media for continued updates and important information.

Thank you so much for your time and have a great evening.
