Good evening, this is Rich Shepler, principal of Warren Central High School.
At Warren Central, we value your input as stakeholders. Specifically, we would like your input on how Warren Township is doing with health and safety measures, communication, and family needs as we continue to navigate these challenging times. Please take a few minutes to complete this survey via the link or QR code below attached to this email. The survey window is open until Monday, November 2nd.
Our first planned eLearning Day will be on Tuesday, November 3rd. High school teachers will provide all students with extended learning activities in Canvas. Please remind your students to log in and complete their school work on Tuesday.
To ensure that instructional questions and needs are met on this day, our teachers will be available to provide eLearning support to their students and families during the school day. 9th through 12th-grade teachers will be available by phone and email from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm.
If you wish for your student to change their placement for semester 2, either from hybrid in-person classes to fully virtual classes or from fully virtual classes to hybrid in-person classes, please fill out the following form in its entirety. If you would like your student to continue with their current placement, no further action is needed.
Registrations must be submitted no later than November 8th to be considered. After this time, registration will close in order to allow the staff to make necessary adjustments to student and teacher schedules in order to accommodate the requests that have been received. Additionally, please be aware that we reserve the right to ask students to return to in-person instruction if they are not finding success virtually.
Senior families, Istep retesting is coming up and we want to make sure all senior retesters know when and where they will be testing. Please be sure to check your email and listen to all phone messages in the coming week. Testing will begin on Monday, November 9th.
As a reminder, Mondays and Wednesdays are Black school days with Tuesdays and Thursdays being Gold school days. This Friday will be the Black school day rotation.
Daylight Saving Time ended today, please be sure to move your clock time back one hour.
As always, please check your email, the Warren Township app, and social media for continued updates.
Thank you so much for your time and have a great evening.
