WCHS

Greetings,

This is Mrs. Taylor, proud principal of Warren Central High School!

We are excited to welcome our students and staff back into the building tomorrow, Monday, October 19th! I hope everyone enjoyed a restful and rejuvenating Fall Break and is ready to return focused and prepared to finish the semester strong!

This week will look a little different due to our testing schedule. Please take note of the following important reminders:

PSAT Testing – Thursday, October 22nd

  • 9th, 10th, and 11th Grade Students: Will participate in PSAT testing.

  • 12th Grade Students: Seniors will NOT report to school on Thursday. Instead, they will participate in an asynchronous eLearning day. Attendance will be determined by the completion of assigned work posted in their Canvas courses.

  • Early Release: Thursday will be an early release day for all students participating in testing. Students will be dismissed at 12:30 PM. Parents and guardians of car riders should plan accordingly.

There will be NO tutoring this week. Tutoring will resume the week of October 26th.

Attendance Matters – Let's Finish Strong!

As we return from our two-week break and continue pushing toward the end of the semester, attendance remains a top priority! Every instructional day matters, and we want to ensure students remain on track academically.

Please help us reinforce the expectation that all students are present, on time, and actively engaged in their learning every day!

As students return from break, please remind them of our schoolwide device expectations. All personal electronic devices must be powered down and put away from 6:45 AM until 2:10 PM. We appreciate your continued support in helping us maintain a focused and productive learning environment.

Warrior Nation, we cannot wait to see everyone tomorrow! Let's return refreshed, refocused, and ready to make the most of the weeks ahead.

Enjoy the rest of your evening!
