Good evening, this is Rich Shepler, principal of Warren Central High School. I want to remind all families that we will not be hosting traditional grade-level registration events as we have in the past. Families that attended Warren Township Schools last year do not need to register for the 2020-2021 school year. We will, however, be hosting a freshman orientation on July 28th and 29th. Class of 2024 families we will see you then.
9th-grade students with last names A-K should plan to attend on Tuesday, July 28th at 6:30 pm, and students with last names L-Z on Wednesday, July 29th at 6:30 pm. We will hold one additional session at 12 o’clock on Tuesday, July 28th for those that cannot attend the evening sessions. All sessions will be held at the football stadium.
I would like to thank our school board for their support and approval of the SAFE reopening plan. High school students will be able to choose from an in-person alternating day schedule or a fully virtual option both of which will begin on Thursday, August 6th. Students with last names A-K will attend school in person on black days and students with last names L-Z will attend in person on gold days. The days that students don’t come to school, they will participate in learning virtually. The full adjusted calendar with the alternating day schedule can be found on our district website.
If you are interested in the fully virtual option, please review the information linked in your email on the Virtual One Page handout. Families can indicate their interest in full-time virtual instruction by contacting us at 317-608-0545, emailing us at WarrenRegistration@warren.k12.in.us, or completing this virtual enrollment form Someone will return your call/email to get more information. We are asking that all families interested in registering virtually do so no later than Monday, July 20th. If you register for virtual instruction after that date, you will be placed on a waitlist.
As always, please make sure to check your email, the Warren Township app, and social media for continued updates.
Thank you and have a good evening.
