I hope this message finds you well and staying warm. Due to unsafe weather conditions, all MSD of Warren Township schools will be closed on Monday, January 26. In place of in-person instruction, we will hold a synchronous eLearning day.
Synchronous eLearning Details
Students are required to meet live via Zoom with their teachers.
Teachers will post Zoom links within their Canvas courses.
Students will attend 5th–8th period classes from 10:00 a.m.–12:30 p.m., meeting for 30 minutes per class.
The synchronous eLearning calendar has been included in this newsletter and emailed directly to students.
Teachers and counselors will be available via email throughout the day to assist with questions regarding classes or accessing Zoom links.
Winter Awareness Week
This week is Winter Awareness Week. This year, we are doing something a little different by bringing awareness to a variety of causes. Each day will feature a different color to wear, along with information highlighting what that color represents.
Spring Pep Rally & Pink Game
Friday is our Spring Pep Rally and Pink Game. We are excited for the student vs. staff basketball game, as staff are determined to reclaim the trophy after last year’s battle!
Please note that students may opt out of attending the pep rally and will be provided with an alternate supervised location during that time.
Academic Support & Attendance
Although it is a cold and shortened week, we continue to emphasize the importance of students showing up daily, arriving on time, and actively engaging in their learning.
Tutoring resumed last week and will continue this week.
Academic Advisory support time is fully up and running.
Teachers are always available to provide assistance.
We encourage families to remind students not to wait until it is too late to seek help.
