SNM

This is Mrs. Taylor, proud principal of Warren Central High School. I want to extend heartfelt appreciation to our entire Warren community for coming together last week to support our Warrior football team. While we didn’t get the victory on the field, we absolutely earned a victory as a community. Showing up for our students makes every win or loss easier to handle, and your support truly matters.

I encourage everyone to continue supporting our Warriors in every arena they step into, whether it’s the field, the court, the stage, or the classroom. With consistent encouragement, I’m confident all of our Warriors will continue growing into winners in the game of life.

This upcoming week is a short one, with Thanksgiving Break beginning on Wednesday. Let’s make Monday and Tuesday positive and productive by ensuring students are present, on time, and ready to learn. When we return from break, only 15 school days will remain in the semester, with the final week dedicated to final exams. Please help us encourage students to stay focused so they can finish the semester strong and on track. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to your student’s teachers. There will be no tutoring this Monday, but it will resume after break, and all students are encouraged to take advantage of the extra support.

Early Final Exam Expectations
As we approach the end of the semester and Winter Break, we anticipate an increase in requests for early final exams. Please be aware of the following expectations:

• Early finals will only be approved for medical reasons or for circumstances determined by administration to be beyond the student’s control.
• Requests related to family travel or vacation will be considered only under extenuating circumstances and must include proper documentation.
• Our school calendar is intentionally released before each school year to support family planning. In recent years, early finals requests have increased, creating additional work and planning for teachers and staff.
• Absences related to early finals, even when approved, are still marked as unexcused.
• All requests for early finals must be submitted by email to your student’s counselor, who will then forward the request to administration for review.
• The deadline for all early finals requests is December 1st.
• If a request is denied, students are expected to be present for their scheduled final exams. Missing a final may negatively impact the student’s grade.

Thank you for making school attendance and academic success a priority. Your partnership is essential as we help our students finish strong.

Have a great evening!

Warm regards,

Mrs. Taylor
