Good evening, this is Rich Shepler, principal of Warren Central High School. I want to thank each and every one of you for helping us make the last seven weeks as successful as possible. I am thankful for the time and effort each family and student put into the eLearning experience. Semester 2 grades will be posted on Tuesday, June 2nd. You can access those grades through Tyler SIS. eLearning will factor into the semester grade which will impact credit attainment and impact a student’s overall GPA. It is important to know that we have added a grading code for this semester that you have not seen in the past. Students that were passing at term 3, but did not complete enough eLearning to pass a course, will be given a “V” as their final grade. Seniors that do not pass any course that they were enrolled in on March 16th will also have a “V” transcripted. The transcription of the V, will not impact the GPA negatively. Underclassmen will need to complete any credits that are not earned and are required for graduation.
This week, the graduation committee will reconvene to begin finalizing plans for an in-person recognition of the class of 2020. We will update you as details become available.
As a reminder, item picks up is Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday of this week. During this time we are asking seniors and any students not returning to Warren Central to return all Chromebooks, library books, textbooks, and other school-issued items such as calculators. 9th-11th graders may keep their Chromebooks for next year but should return any textbooks or other school-issued items.
If you have personal items at school you want to retrieve, please complete this survey (bit.ly/endofyearpickup) to assist us. During this distribution, we will have yearbooks, NHS cords, and the items you request on the form available.
Item drop off/ distribution will take place on the north side of the building near door 1. Please note athletic and performing arts will hold separate events.

Wednesday, June 3rd - 12 pm -6 pm (Alpha A-M)
Thursday, June 4th - 12 pm - 6 pm (Alpha N-Z)
Friday, June 5th, 9 am 12pm (Makeup times)
