Greetings, this is Mrs. Taylor, proud principal of Warren Central High School!
Welcome back to our first full week of school since returning from Fall Break! We are now officially in Quarter 2, and it’s important that students stay focused on finishing the semester strong.
As a friendly reminder, semester grades are determined by averaging Quarter 1 and Quarter 2 grades, and these semester grades are what determine credits earned toward graduation. Please encourage your student to take advantage of the many opportunities for academic support available on campus.
Tutoring officially restarts tomorrow after school and will continue every Monday and Thursday for the remainder of the semester.
Academic help is also available weekly during advisory. Students can sign up to participate and get extra assistance as needed.
The end of the semester will be here before we know it, so let’s work together to ensure all students finish strong and experience success!
This week, we’re also excited to celebrate Halloween Spirit Week! Check out each day’s theme in this week’s school newsletter. On Friday, students are welcome to wear school-appropriate costumes. Please note that students who do not follow costume guidelines will be asked to change. Be sure to review the detailed expectations in the previous email and Sunday newsletter for full costume guidance.
As always, thank you for allowing us to serve you and your students.
