Good evening, this is Rich Shepler, principal of Warren Central High School. As we continue with eLearning, I want to once again, remind all students of the importance of engaging in and completing the eLearning lessons that have been assigned. Engagement in eLearning not only impacts your final semester grade and GPA but also your attendance record for this school year. If you are having any issues with eLearning materials or access, please reach out to your teachers and cohort team for assistance. Quarter 4 mid term grades will be accessible to view on Tyler 360 beginning Wednesday, May 6th. As always, if you have questions about your student’s grades, please reach out to the classroom teacher.
Seniors, remember that cap and gown distribution will take place this Tuesday, May 5th, from 9am-3pm in Lot 7, west of the football field. If possible please arrive during the time slot assigned to your last name: (A-G 9:00-11:00, H-M 11:00-1:00, and N-Z 1:00-3:00)
This will be a drive thru service and it is imperative that all drivers closely adhere to the traffic patterns that will be established. Vehicles can enter campus from 21st or 18th streets and will enter Lot 7 closest to the home ticketbooth. All vehicles will exit Lot 7 heading west toward 18th street. Please pull up to the distribution area and either roll down your passenger side or rear passenger side window. Items will be placed in your vehicle.
In order to adhere to social distancing guidelines we are asking that all individuals remain in their vehicles at all times. Only roll down windows for delivery of cap and gown. All adults working will have access to masks, gloves and hand sanitizer. No contact will be made between staff and students.
If you purchased more than a cap and gown, your full purchase price is due to Herff Jones at the time of pick up. Herff Jones will issue a refund for the cap and gown amount in the coming months.
In case of rain, we will still be located in Lot 7. Herff Jones will be set up in the maintenance garage and will still distribute to vehicles. We look forward to seeing you there.
As always, please feel free to reach out if you have any questions. Thank you and have a good evening.
