Greetings, this is Mrs. Taylor, proud principal of Warren Central High School!
Thank You Students For Showing Up!
I am excited to report that we had over 92% of students present and ready to test this past Thursday. Thank you for making your education a priority. We are excited to get the results and utilize the information gained to drive instruction and student support. Let's continue to make student attendance at school daily a priority. We know that with our students here everyday, on-time, and actively participating in their learning, the sky's the limit and our students will be able to accomplish all of their goals and experience success!
Another way students will have a chance to "show up" is for our upcoming November 15th Blood Drive. I am excited to bring back this tradition of supporting efforts to address the shortage of available blood within our community by hosting this Blood Drive. Students and staff will have the opportunity to participate. We will be sending out information on how students can sign up and what criteria they must meet to be eligible. Additionally, leading up to the blood drive we will educate students on the importance of giving blood and the impact it has on our school and overall Warren Community.
Our next eLearning day for all students will take place Tuesday, November 5th. Students will be assigned work within their courses via Canvas and will be expected to complete all assignments in order for attendance to be counted for that day. We will use November 5th as a day to provide Professional Development to our staff so that we can continue to grow ourselves professionally to better be able to serve our students.
Tomorrow is a Black Day and I look forward to seeing students on time and ready to learn.
Have a great evening!
