Greetings, this is Mrs. Taylor, proud principal of Warren Central High School.
We continue to stress the importance of students being in school every day, on time, and ready to learn. We are 1 month into the semester and we are noting an uptick in students missing school, arriving late to school, and being late to class. Statistics show that student's attendance directly impacts grades and graduation. Please continue to make sure your student is present at school daily and on time. Your students ability to participate in extracurricular activities and events will be dependent on them maintaining good attendance.
Summer school will take place June 4-June 28, 2024. If your student is interested in summer school please have them to reach out to their school counselor. Summer school courses will be offered at WCHS for students needing to retake courses. Again, if your student is interested they should reach out to their counselor.
There will be no school on February 19th in recognition of President's Day. Tuesday, February 20, 2024, will be an eLearning day for all students. Students will receive guidance regarding assignment completion.
As always please encourage your student to continue to show CORE at all times.
