Sunday Night Message

Greetings, this is Mrs. Taylor, proud principal of Warren Central High School!

Happy New Year and welcome back! I am excited to start this second semester and more excited to watch our students continue to shine. This semester will fly by as students start new courses and our seniors prepare for graduation. Please note that student attendance is one of the main data points that determines a student's success and ability to meet academic goals. This semester we will continue to place emphasis on student attendance and students arriving at school and class on time. Encourage students to show up on time daily ready to actively participate in their learning.

There is a lot happening in the first few weeks that we return from school. This Thursday we will hold an informational meeting at 6:00 pm in the East cafeteria to discuss the proposed block schedule model for the 2024-2025 school year. This will be an opportunity to hear about the proposed change and to ask any clarifying questions. Additionally, a parent block schedule survey has gone out asking for your feedback. Please take a few moments to complete. You can find links to the survey in this Sunday's newsletter and in previous messages sent out via email last week. Again, we want to hear from you!

Again, I am excited to welcome students and staff back into the building and hope that all are refreshed, rejuvenated, and ready to give their all this semester. Please take note of all of the updates in this week's newsletter and the information needed for all students to be successful going into this second semester!

As always, thank you for allowing me to serve you and your students! Have a great evening!
