Warren Central High School's Sunday Night Message

Greetings, this is Mrs. Taylor, proud principal of Warren Central High School.

This week we join together as a Warrior nation and family to draw attention to those who have survived cancer and those who are battling this horrific disease. This week September 18-September 22nd will be pink week. We are asking students, staff, and community members to wear pink throughout the week to show unified support for finding a cure for cancer. Several activities and events will take place throughout the week with the goal of raising awareness and money to support cancer research. We will present a check of money raised at Friday's "pink out" game against Pike. Additionally, I am asking that you join us this Friday for several pre-game activities, including an appearance by celebrity chef, Jonathan Zaragoza, who will showcase his culinary skills with several samples of his well-known dishes. Check out our school newsletter and the school website to see details on all that is happening during Pink Week.

Don't forget to schedule time to meet with your student's teachers. Parent-teacher conferences will take place on October 5th from 3-8 p.m. and October 6 from 8-12 p.m. Conferences are available in person, virtually, and via phone. Teachers have sent out conference schedulers via Parentsquare. This is a great opportunity to discuss with teachers the best way you all can work together to support your student. Also, please note that students do not have school on October 6th.

As always thank you for all you do to support your student. Also, special shout out to our Gold Brigade who took 1st place in this weekend's band competition.

Have a great week!
