May 24, 2023

Good afternoon Warren Scholars, Families, and Staff,

We have some important information for the week of May 24th.

Just a reminder that our last day of the 2022-2023 school year is Friday, May 26th. All students will be dismissed an hour early on Friday, May 26th. Linked here is the 2022-2023 school calendar as well as the 2023-2024 school year.

Parents and caregivers, please remember to pick up any leftover medications from your student's school by the end of this week. Any medication left in the school clinic will be disposed of. Also, as a reminder, please update your student's immunizations for the 2023-2024 school year. You should have received a letter from your student's school nurse stating what your student needs for the 2023-2024 school year. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to your student's school nurse.

At the beginning of the year, our motto was that #WarrenWill grow our students, and that we did! I am pleased to share that our K-7 students did an outstanding job on their end-of-the-year NWEA assessments, and our K-12 students participated in some amazing JoG Capstone Projects! Our attendance improved across the District by at least 5% in all grade levels! So proud of our students, families, and staff, and I am looking forward to continuing to build on this progress next year!

Thank you for an inCREdible school year, and I hope you have a relaxing and rewarding summer break!

Dr. Tim Hanson, Superintendent of Schools for MSD Warren Township
