Greetings, this is Mrs. Taylor proud principal of Warren Central High School calling with a few reminders and updates.

Please note some of the best ideas and positive change comes from the feedback that we receive from our families. The window for our Family and Caregiver Panorama Survey remains open until Friday, March 24th. We/I want to hear how we are doing, what we can do to get better, and especially how we can ensure a safe learning environment for students and staff. Please take a few minutes to access the survey by visiting the link provided in our school newsletter, the WCHS Sunday Night Email Message, and/or in the superintendent's message that went out this past Wednesday. Your voice matters.  The survey window is open from March 13th through March 24th. surveys.panoramaed.com/msdwarren/family

Additionally, We were recently notified by the City’s Department of Public Works that road construction on Post Road will begin this week. The focus of this project is to rehabilitate and replace the section of Post Road between Washington Street and I-70. This work is scheduled from March to November. As you can imagine, this will create traffic congestion on Post Road and on other major roads nearby. Our transportation department is aware and is already making adjustments to bus routes. This will impact our car riders here at the high school and possibly our student drivers. Please make route adjustments or allow yourself some extra time. I would like to encourage car riders  who have 1st period classes in our Walker Career Center or any class close to or in the S/E hall to consider being dropped off and entering door 62 in the Walker Career Center to avoid delays and help us cut down on traffic. We will provide updates to the project as we receive them.

Finally, Spring Intersession Break will begin on Monday, March 27th, and will end on Friday, April 7th. Students and staff will return on Monday, April 10th. Let's finish this week strong with all students being present, on time, showing CORE, and ready to learn.

Have a great week!
