Good evening seniors families, this is Rich Shepler, principal of Warren Central High School.  I am calling this evening to make sure all senior families are aware of important upcoming events.

As our graduation committee finalizes plans for this year’s commencement ceremony, I want to be sure that all seniors fulfill all graduation requirements.  We want to see each and every senior walk across the stage in June.

In order to earn a Warren Central High School diploma, and participate in the graduation ceremony, all seniors must complete all course credit requirements and either pass the Istep graduation qualifying exam or complete a graduation pathway.

Seniors that are still in need of a graduation pathway will be expected to attend ASVAB and ISTEP testing in the coming weeks.  ASVAB testing will take place on Tuesday, January 26th at 7:15 am.  Senior ISTEP retesters will test from February 9th-12th, with testing beginning at 7:15 am each day.  Testing locations for both tests will be sent to students via email.    Transportation can be provided if needed.  Attendance at these tests is required.  Please direct any questions you may have to the senior cohort team.

As principal of Warren Central, I take great pride in the achievements of our student body, and each year that tone is set by the achievements of the senior class.  I know this year has not been like any other.  We are out of our routines and taking things day by day.  It is deeply important to me to see each of our seniors successfully complete their high school career.  I am asking that all seniors finish strong, dig deep, and work hard to get through the next four months so that they can pursue their dreams.   As always, please let us know if you are struggling and need our assistance.

Thank you and have a good evening.
