Good evening, this is Rich Shepler, principal of Warren Central High School.  We are excited to welcome all students back this week, including those of you that will be fully virtual this semester.  The first day of virtual instruction will take place on Thursday, August 6th.  All virtual students should log into their Canvas accounts and email to receive updates from their virtual teachers and counselors.   All virtual students regardless of the last name will follow the black day schedule.   This means students will receive instruction from virtual teachers on black days and application work on gold days.  VIrtual teachers will be available for contact every weekday via email.

Virtual student material pick up will take place on Tuesday, August 4th between 5 and 8 pm at the high school.  Students will pick up textbooks and other classroom materials needed for virtual instruction.  New students that are participating in virtual learning may also pick up Chromebooks.   Returning students with damaged or non-working Chromebooks may exchange them.  All other students should use the device they have from the last school year.

ParentVue is our new Parent Portal for communicating information with our parents. ParentVue activation letters were mailed to families this week. For our families without an address on file, they will need to complete the Google Form located on the Parent Portal page under the Parents tab. Once activated, parents will be able to access bus information, teacher information, and other student information in their ParentVue account.

Additionally, schedules will be ready for the week of August 3rd. We would like to encourage all students to continue to check their emails for important information from their counselors when their schedules are released.  If you have registration needs of any kind, please reach out to the high school main office at 317-532-6200 and you will be directed to the appropriate cohort team.

This year’s back to school night and cohort parent meetings will be hosted as virtual webinars.  Please stay tuned for information on dates and times.

As always, please make sure to check your email, the Warren Township app, and social media for continued updates.  Thank you and have a good evening.
