7-26-2020 Sunday Message
Mr. Shepler
Sunday, July 26, 2020

Good evening, this is Rich Shepler, principal of Warren Central High School.  I want to remind all freshmen families that freshman orientation is coming up this Tuesday and Wednesday.  9th grade students with last names A-K should plan to attend on Tuesday July 28th at 6:30pm, and students with last names L-Z on Wednesday July 29th at 6:30 pm.  We will hold one additional session at 12 o’clock on Tuesday July 28th for those that cannot attend the evening sessions.  All sessions will be held at the football stadium.   Masks are required.   If you are unable to attend in person, we will be recording the sessions and will make those recordings available to you.

The MSD of Warren Township will host a webinar on Tuesday July 28th at 3:00pm regarding the reopening of schools.  Special guest, Dr. Virginia Caine, from the Marion County health department will participate in the webinar.  Please register in advance using the link in the email transcription of this message.

The Warren Community Family Resource Center, in cooperation with MLT Mentoring & Sonny Day, will be hosting a food distribution with fresh produce and meat from Gleaners. The distribution will take place on Monday, July 27th beginning at 3:30 pm and ending no later than 5:30 pm at the new Moorhead Community Resource Center, located at 8400 East 10th Street Indianapolis Indiana.  Supplies are limited, so distribution will be on a first come first serve basis. We would like to thank all of our families for allowing us to serve you during the summer months during these difficult times.

I would like to remind all families that our start date has changed to Thursday August 6th.  Additionally, schedules will be ready the week of August 3rd. We would like to encourage all students to continue to check their emails for important information from their counselors when their schedules are released.  If you have registration needs of any kind, please reach out to the high school main office at 317-532-6200 and you will be directed to the appropriate cohort team.

As always, please make sure to check your email, the Warren Township app, and social media for continued updates.  Thank you and have a good evening.
