Good evening, this is Rich Shepler, principal of Warren Central High School. Happy Mother’s Day to all of our Warrior Moms. We couldn’t do it without you.
Monday begins week 5 of eLearning. It is our expectation that all students complete all eLearning assignments in each class they are taking. Elearning will factor into the semester grade which will determine credit attainment and impact a student’s overall GPA. If you are having issues with eLearning materials or access or are facing medical issues, please reach out to your cohort team for assistance.
Seniors, if you were unable to attend cap and gown pick up this week, we will hold a makeup session on Tuesday, May 12th from 11-1 pm in lot 7. Additionally, if you did not pick up your senior order or are a member of the National Technical Honor Society and need to pick up your cords, those will be available as well.
I know many of you are eager to submit your photos for the virtual graduation ceremony. You should have received an email at your school email address from Marching Order. If you do not see the email please check your spam folder. The email contains student-specific login information as well as the link for accessing the website for uploading information and your cap and gown photo. You will enter names with phonetic spellings and have the option to record your name so that the reader will say it correctly.
We have extended the deadline for photo submissions. Photos are now due on May 20th by 11:59 pm.
Please be reminded that all caps and gowns must be worn in their original form. Photos will not be accepted if caps and gowns are altered in any way. Additionally, please adhere to the following guidelines:
1. All gowns should be completely zipped for the photo.
2. Caps should be on and worn straight, with the tassel on your right
3. Please refrain from wearing sunglasses.
4. Only wear school or military issued cords and stoles
5. Photos should only be of the individual graduate
6. Choose a school appropriate background for your photo.
