Good evening senior students and families, this is Rich Shepler, Principal of Warren Central High School.   I have great news to share with you this evening.  We have worked with Herff Jones to schedule a drive thru cap and gown pick up on Tuesday, May 5th from 9am until 3pm in Lot 7, west of the football field.  Seniors that have not ordered, will be able to pick up their cap and gown with their photo ID.  In an effort to reduce the stress and strain on the class of 2020, the MSD of Warren Township has agreed to pay for all caps and gowns for graduating seniors.   We are currently working in partnership with the Herff Jones corporate office to secure refunds for cap and gown orders already placed.  The refund process may take quite some time, but I assure you we will secure and return the cap and gown purchase price.  Additionally, over the past several weeks, I've been working with a graduation committee of students, parents, and staff members.  This graduation committee has developed four phases of recognition for the class of 2020.

Phase 1 - includes the immediate actions we are taking to honor the class of 2020.

Phase 2 - Establishment of a virtual Graduation Ceremony

Phase 3 - An in person recognition of the class of 2020 at WCHS pending approval by the health department and local government officials

Phase 4 - Honoring the Class of 2020 during the 20-21 school year

During cap and gown pick up, students will be given detailed information about steps that we are taking.  We will also share more details with you about each phase in the coming weeks.
