War has finally come, and its results are arriving faster than the eye can blink. “Civil War” is a new movie that shows viewers what may happen if America undergoes a civil war during the modern era. The movie could be a good watch for those who enjoy a good dystopia flick, but it could also give watchers more questions than answers, on the account that the exact reason for the main plot is unanswered and leaves it up for fan interpretation.
The movie begins by introducing the storyline, a civil war between an authoritarian United States federal government and numerous secessionist movements. The reason why this civil war started is unknown throughout the entirety of the movie. The film then shifts to the main cast: Lee Smith, a renowned war photographer; aspiring photojournalist Jessie Cullen; Joel, Lee’s colleague; and Sammy, Lee’s mentor. The four then get into a car and travel to Washington, D.C., to interview and photograph the President of the United States, before the Western Front, composed of Texas and California, raid the White House and end the president’s tyrannical reign. On the journey to D.C., the four stumble upon numerous obstacles and opportunities to gain more photos, from a brief war with militiamen to being pinned down by sniper fire.

Then, there’s the cast. Kirsten Dunst, the actress of Lee Smith, is an American actress who made her acting debut in the anthology film “New York Stories.” After that, she appeared in many other films. Her claim to fame is her playing Mary Jane Watson in the 2002 “Spiderman” film. Wagner Maniçoba de Moura, a Brazilian actor, director and filmmaker. Well-known for his debut as Captain Nascimento in the 2007 Brazilian crime film “Elite Squad” and its sequel “Elite Squad 2: The Enemy Within,” Wagner made a living in the beginning acting in many movies in the Brazilian cinema scene, with a few of his best being “Woman on Top,” “Lower City,” “They Killed Sister Dorothy” and “Puss in Boots: The Last Wish.”
