Warren Central High School Class of 2020 Graduation Information 

DATE/LOCATION:  June 3, 2020, Lucas Oil Stadium

REHEARSAL: REHEARSAL DATE COMING SOON. Buses will leave Warren from the east parking lot (lot 8 by the dome) at 8:45 AM. Report to the senior parking lot to board your bus at 8:30 AM. After rehearsal, the bus will bring you back to Warren. Parking is limited around the stadium during the day, so plan to ride the bus. Only Warren students will be allowed to ride the bus and attend the rehearsal.

REQUIREMENTS: A student is eligible to participate in the commencement ceremony ONLY if he/she has met all the graduation requirements of obtaining the specific credits needed AND either passing both parts of the ISTEP or completing all the requirements for a graduation pathway.

CAPS AND GOWNS: Caps and gowns are required for all participating graduates. They can be ordered at www.highschool.herffjones.com or when Herff Jones representatives come to the school throughout the school year. Please see the announcements for those dates and times.

Caps are worn square - not tilted. Students will not be allowed on the stadium floor with writing or decorations on their caps or gowns. Caps and gowns must be picked up by practice.

TICKETS: Each student participating in the ceremony will receive 10 tickets immediately following the senior luncheon. Students must have their school ID and be on track to obtain all their credits per their counselor. We do not collect extra tickets, nor do we give out or sell extras, so please plan accordingly when inviting guests.

PARKING: Graduates need to allow time to park in the area parking lots. Get there early and avoid the traffic.

GRADUATE DRESS: Gowns should be worn with slacks, suits, or dresses. Shoes are required. Female graduates should plan to leave their purses with their family or friends as they cannot be secured.

PICTURES: Take pictures before the ceremony. Picture taking on the stadium floor is not permitted. Since only graduates are allowed on the floor, graduates should plan ahead to meet their family and friends in the entry pavilion on the ground floor or in the parking lot.

ACCESSIBILITY: Please watch, as we will post this information as soon as we can.

BEHAVIORAL EXPECTATIONS:  It is imperative to maintain a positive, dignified atmosphere before and during the ceremony. Failure to meet expectations will result in disciplinary action which may include denial to participate or deferred receipt of the diploma. Please do not risk missing the opportunity to share this proud moment.

VIDEO STREAMING: The graduation ceremony will be streamed live for any who are unable to attend. The link will be on the Warren home page at www.warren.k12.in.us.

POST-CEREMONY: Have a plan on where to meet after the ceremony. Graduates will be dismissed from the dock.

DIPLOMA PICK UP: TENTATIVE. Students meeting all graduation requirements may pick up their diplomas with a valid ID in the commons on the following dates and times:

  • Friday, June 5: 9 am - 2 pm
  • Monday, June 8: 2 pm - 4 pm
