There is no doubt that 2020 has been the craziest and hardest year for most of us. We are literally living through history, and to think this pandemic will be in our childrens’ history book is insane. But, if you have had the right mindset, this year might not have been as bad as it should have been. For me, it has been being able to call myself a Sectional Champion in tennis, accepted into my dream school Indiana University, and my broadcasting career with the MIC Network is [skyrocketing.] But, just because things are taking a turn for the worse and we are going back to all virtual, that doesn’t mean the hard work comes to an end. You have to take advantage of every opportunity that comes your way. I encourage you all to not let up on your hard work, especially my fellow seniors out there. Whether it is in the classroom or out on the court, the Warrior way is to fight until the end, and that is exactly what we are going to do. Things are much different this year, and grades are more important now than ever. Don’t think if you’ve been accepted to a school it can’t be taken away, because it definitely can, and no one wants to see that. As we come close to the end of the semester, remember you should be taking full advantage of your time, perfecting your craft, and getting better than the people around you. It’s a competitive world out there, and there are hundreds of thousands of people ready to take your spot. I can tell you from first hand experience in the broadcasting field, it’s not going to be easy. That's where I come back around to the point where it is no time to stop now. Keep up the great work Warriors, let’s finish out this semester and school year strong.
