The Boys swimming team, which qualified for three events in the state finals last year, is ready to get going again. With the season starting, anyone is currently welcome to come out and try to join the team.

With the ongoing pandemic, the season could look a little different because everyone will have to wear masks when not in the water, and stay socially distant.

“I don’t think there will be any major changes apart from the normal social distancing and such during the season,” senior Joe Jackson said.

The Warriors have many meets throughout the season at various schools throughout the state, including the county tournament which will be hosted at the IUPUI natatorium.

“It’s the best pool to swim in and it’s also some of the best racing that we have all season,” Jackson said.

The season starts on Nov. 24 at home against Perry Meridian for anyone who wants to come support the Warriors in their first meet of the year where they will look to meet new goals.

“We just want to win meets and focus on improving our swimmers,” Jackson said.
