Good evening warrior families, this is Rich Shepler, principal of Warren Central High School. I would like to take a few moments this evening to address some concerns about the recently announced school closure. As you are aware, all Warren Township schools will be closed until Monday April 6th. During this time, all events, activities and athletics at Warren Central and Walker Career Center are cancelled. Additionally, all field trips scheduled for the remainder of the school year have been cancelled. Please contact the trip sponsors with questions that may arise.
We understand that the announcement regarding school closure happened after school hours on Thursday and there may be personal items that students and staff need during this time. On Monday, March 16th, all buildings will be open from noon to 5:00 PM for staff and families to come in and pick up what they need. Nurses will be at schools during this time if parents need to pick up medications or health items. After 5:00 PM on Monday, March 16th, all buildings will be closed with no access until April 6th.
9 weeks grades will be posted as scheduled and will be available to view on Tyler 360 beginning Tuesday March 17th. Finally, lunch will be served at Warren Central on March 16-20th between 11am and 1pm at door 1. Thank you for your understanding during this uncertain time.
