Warren Girls Tennis falls short against Greenwood 1-4

Warren Girls Tennis falls short against Greenwood, 1-4, however, 3rd Singles are undefeated! Greenwood traveled to Warren Central yesterday and walked away with the win. Warren coming off a solid win against LC was ready for Greenwood. 1st Singles Tia Hague fought hard in her match, but couldn't fight off the power of Sophia Davidson and was defeated 1-6, 1-6.  2nd Singles Madelyn Oconitrillo struggled to find her rhythm which resulted in a 2-6, 3-6 loss. 

Player of the Match: 3rd Singles Alexis Moment was Warren's lone point. She defeated her opponent in straight sets 6-3, 6-1. 1st Doubles Ashley Jarels and Morgan Oconitrillo fought back in their first set but were broken, which resulted in them losing 4-6. On serve in the second set, Warren had to retire due to injury. The 2nd doubles team of Kelli Rivers and Shila Shelby had a tough first set but couldn't find a way to hold off Greenwood and were defeated lost 4-6, 1-6. Warren will host Cardinal Ritter, today. Last year Cardinal Ritter defeated us 3-2. This should be a good match. Come out and support your Lady Warriors!
